The 42nd Fluorine Conference of Japan

The Society of Fluorine Chemistry, Japan, holds the Fluorine Conference of Japan every autumn to facilitate the exchange of information and interactions among members and as a unique and interdisciplinary conference beyond the boundaries of organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, polymer chemistry, and analytical chemistry.
This year (2019), the 42nd Fluorine Conference of Japan will be held at the Kobe University Centennial Hall - Rokko Hall on November 21-22 co-organizing with Kobe University. In addition to 3 invited lectures from overseas and inside of Japan, oral and poster presentations are scheduled for the discussion. From this year, an excellent oral presentation award will also be awarded, sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). We look forward to your participation.

■ Orgenizers
The 42nd Fluorine Conference of Japan will be organized by The Society of Fluorine Chemistry, Japan and Kobe University with co-organizing of The Chemical Society of Japan, cooperative organizing of The Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan, The Society of Polymer Science, Japan, and The Electrochemical Society of Japan, and supported by The Royal Society of Chemistry.

The abstract will be published on November 21, 2019 (the first day of the conference). Abstracts will be distributied on-site. Please note that advanced delivering is not planned.

Oral presentations and poster session, Language: Japanese, English accepted

■ Awards

・ Excellent Poster Award

The qualifications for participation in each award are a member of the Society of Fluorine chemistry of Japan who is 35 years old or younger at the time of presentation and has not received any awards at the Society of Fluorine Chemistry such as a Fluorine Chemistry Young Researchers’ Conference or Fluorine Conference of Japan.
If you apply for the Excellent Oral Presentation Award or the Excellent Poster Award, you cannot apply for both awards at the same time.

November 21 (Thu) 6:30pm-8:30pm at Takigawa-kinen Gakujutsu Koryu Kaikan
A few minutes’ walk from venue.
